I had an issue with my Rixen's Enterprises Heater this past week while in NY; it would work fine then would not fire up but if it did it would not re-fire most all the time. I just had the unit serviced, which included the replacement of the nozzle and igniter but prior to that I had not had an issue with the unit and I have over 3000 hours on it.

When this happened I called Jim Rixen, what a great guy.

Jim suggested I look at the size of the new nozzle and compare it to the size of the original one and I found that the size was fine. Then I replaced the new igniter with the original one and the unit worked fine. The problem was the new igniter was not getting hot enough most of the time.

I have returned the igniter, per Jim Rixen’s instruction for replacement. This is not the first time Jim has helped me out; he is the best and deserves recognition for his continued support to people owning Rixen's Enterprises heaters.
