are we? A good idea, a better way, or an improved service is the starting point for many businesses. Rixen’s Enterprises began in 1985 with each of these ideals forming the foundation. The business was started to fulfill a need in the local marine marketplace for the service and installation of heating systems. Jim Rixen, the company founder, had a desire to provide a better system and began searching. The result was the Quantum Heating Systems manufactured and designed by North West Research & Development. |

| The success in the marine industry was followed by an introduction into the RV industry. Expertise in electrical and mechanical systems and an effort for further system improvements, led Rixen’s Enterprises into the development of its’own products. The services that we provide enable us to service our product lines, retrofit our products, and aid in the continual development of a better system. |
Between 1995-2003, Rixen’s Enterprises was the exclusive distributor
for Hurricane heaters in the USA.
Starting with 2003 Rixen's Enterprises become the exclusive distributor
for Quantum
Heating Systems produced by North West Research & Development.
The Quantum
Heating Systems incorporates ESPAR heaters
as diesel fired furnaces.
1996 marked the beginning of our own products that further enhance our
ability to supply the best comfort systems available.
These are the roots of our company. Today our larger facilities and convenient
island location allow us to continue our tradition of providing excellent
service.
